Rehearsals are open to the public, but we ask that indoors at the school remain off limits to non-Crusader personnel.
Tuesday and Wednesday will be essentially full rehearsal days. Individual and Ensemble participants will depart for the Convention Center early Wednesday, while the rest of the corps rehearses. They will return following their performances.
Banquet/Member Recognition Ceremonies
In the past 10 years, we have had the end of year banquet on Wednesday before quarterfinals, Sunday after finals, and in November. Most recently, we have settled on Wednesday as a day to celebrate the culmination of the season. This year however, we are proud to announce that one of our staff members, Frank Williams, will be inducted into the DCI Hall of Fame. Crusaders staff will be in attendance at this cermony, which takes place on Wednesday night this year (a new day of the week for DCI). As we want our staff to be able to recognize our members as well, we cannot have the traditional banquet on Wednesday night. This presents a challenge, because we want to recognize the members, but also want parents who are in town to be able to attend. That makes Tuesday out of the question as most parents have not arrived yet. We have settled on splitting up the recognition over two nights: Wednesday night, the members themselves will have their own private time to celebrate the season, and we politely ask that this remain private for them. Thursday night after the corps performs, we will quickly return to John Marshall for a late night recognition cermony and brief celebration. Parents are welcome to attend, but unfortunately, due to time constraints, you may miss the corps that perform after the Crusaders. (It will be a late night!)
Friday is the DCI ageout cermony at Lucas Oil. The corps will not depart until after the ceremony concludes. After the corps performs, the members will be allowed to roam the stadium until the ageout ceremony is over.

Final property return and dismissal will be in the parking lot outside of the stadium. All members not being released to families will be brought to Indianapolis airport after property return and check out is complete-probably around 2AM. If you are picking up your child, please be sure to communicate with them about logistics ASAP.
