What years were you involved with the Crusaders (taught, marched, admin staff, support staff, fan)?

What are you doing now?

I am married to my lovely and supportive wife Julie (never marched but gets it!) and have four kids - Michael(17) - 1st year member of the Corps and headed to Wake Forest after tour, Mark (16), Barbara(13) and Neal (11).  I am a Managing Director and head of Mutual Fund Shareholder Services at Putnam Investments.  I am also the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the National Investment Company Association, a member of the Investment Company Institute Operating  Committee and the Depository Trust Clearing Corporation Wealth Advisory Board.  I am a current member of the Boston Crusaders Board of Directors.

How did you get involved with the corps?

After the Corps from Norwood that  I was in folded, my Dad told me to go check out a few Corps. The first Corps I went to was the Crusaders and I never left!

What are your fondest memories?

My memories are full of fun times, challenging situations and growing up with friends that are like family. The one that stands out the most:  Allentown 1983, from the second we entered the field to the deafening standing ovation at the end of Conquest - it was incredible!

What are you favorite BAC traditions?

The attitude - We will never die - enough said.

Who do you keep in touch with?

Almost everyone from all generations.

What is your favorite Crusader show of all time?

All of them - I am the original homer! If forced to point out the ones that I love - 1967,1970,1977, 1979, 1983, 1990, 1999, 2000, 2002 & 2009.

I have spent most of my life leading and supporting the Corps, I encourage anyone who reads this to help out as well!
